Definition:
Word or phrase that use to describe an object or action without literally say it out.
Example:
Time is a thief...
Significance:
Metaphor makes the person who read it think about what is this trying to say and what is the real meaning of it. Metaphor can be very interesting instead of just using plain words to say about something straight away.
